New Renault Trucks E-Tech Master Wins Prestigious Electric Van of the Year Award

Renault Trucks is delighted to announce that the New Renault Trucks E-Tech Master has won Electric Van of the Year at the 2024 Export & Freight Transport & Logistics Awards

The award, presented to Grahame Neagus, Head of LCV at Renault Trucks UK & Ireland, at a prestigious event held at the Crowne Plaza, Belfast, highlights Renault Trucks’ commitment to excellence in decarbonising the transport and logistics industry.

Following a rigorous testing and evaluation process, New Renault Trucks E-Tech Master captured the attention of the judging panel of industry experts with its innovative design, superior performance, and sustainability credentials. Judges were impressed during both the presentation and test drive, leading to the New Renault Trucks E-Tech Master’s unanimous win.

Attended by around 600 guests from across the transport and logistics industry, the awards ceremony, hosted by BBC’s Mark Simpson, is regarded as Northern Ireland’s leading event for recognising industry excellence.

It was also a successful night for Renault Trucks dealer, Diamond Trucks, which won two awards, Workshop of the Year 2024, and Apprentice of the Year for Scott Morrison.

Grahame Neagus, Head of LCV UK & Ireland, Renault Trucks said: “It’s an immense honour to receive the Electric Van of the Year 2024 award from Export & Freight Magazine for our New Renault Trucks E-Tech Master. We’re also delighted to see Diamond Trucks celebrate its success winning two well-deserved awards on the night, too, reinforcing the abilities of our truck dealer network in the LCV arena.

“This recognition highlights the dedication and passion of the entire Renault Trucks team and our dealers, who go above and beyond for our customers day and night and cements our position in the market as a leading supplier of electromobility solutions ranging from 3.1 tonnes to 44 tonnes. For those seeking a zero-emission van that delivers up to 460km of silent, luxurious travel while carrying anywhere between 1,000 and 1,500kg, the New Renault Trucks E-Tech Master is the perfect choice.”

With a new aerodynamic design and a host of unique features from Renault Trucks, the New Renault Trucks E-Tech Master offers a WLTP range of up to 460km, making it an ideal solution for businesses looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

Available with a choice of 40kWh or 87kWh batteries and body styles that mirror the versatility of the ICE portfolio, the New Renault Trucks E-Tech Master stood out for its versatility and numerous customisation options. The van comes equipped with premium features as standard, including a driver-facing dashboard, a 10.1-inch secondary display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and new advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) designed to enhance safety and comfort for drivers.

Organised by Export & Freight magazine’s publishers, 4SM (NI) Ltd, the awards have been a key platform for celebrating the resilience and innovation in the sector since 2001.
