Reynolds Recruitment has invested in the UK’s largest fleet of Renault Trucks’ new flat floor T520, as part of a large expansion and upgrading programme.
Based in Nottingham, Reynolds employs 150 staff and has been providing recruitment, logistics and training solutions to blue chip organisations and SMEs across the UK and Europe, for more than 30 years.
Purchasing 16 brand-new trucks to meet increased customer demand, Reynolds was keen to improve welfare and facilities for its staff during long-haul journeys as part of the investment.
The state-of-the-art 6×2 mid lift trucks provided a larger, more comfortable space for the driver as well as modern facilities such as duro bright alloy wheels, including tyre pressure monitors, adaptive cruise control, heated leather seat trim, air suspended cab and FORS Silver – a left turn warning for cyclists.
Ros Harris, Director at Reynolds, said: “Having acquired a significant new customer, we needed to invest in a number of new trucks to meet this demand but we were also aware that the welfare of our drivers was just as important, so we wanted more comfortable and modern facilities.
“RHCV has always been considered an extension of our team, showing both excitement and support when we see excellent business success. The team listened closely to our needs and the requirements of our drivers on long-haul journeys. The new trucks we purchased from them ticked all our boxes, and look fantastic when out on road.”
