GMI is an expanding business, located across two sites in Sheffield and employing over 30 staff. It offers general and specialist transport options, as well as secure warehouse storage solutions to its customers.
The firm needed to update its current vehicle fleet, and after doing some market research, decided the latest Renault range was the right option for them.
Director Mark Sissons approached RHCV’s Alfreton dealership for assistance. He was impressed by the high specification of products on offer, as well as the level of customer service received.
In consultation with his hauliers, Mark subsequently placed an order for six 26 tonne T range flatbed trucks with PM cranes under a new five-year contract with repair and maintenance.
Commenting on the decision to introduce more Renault trucks into the business, Mark said: “We deliver to the whole of the UK and Ireland, so our drivers are often on the road overnight.
“It was important to us that the cab size of our chosen vehicles was of sufficient size to enable them to do their job in safety and comfort.
“The Renault product range was impressive, and we felt the T-range and flat-bed vehicles were the right options for us.
“They are relatively economical and offered the right engine size, as well as the best specification for lifting all types of materials and machinery in the safest and most efficient way.”
RHCV prides itself on delivering a trusted and reliable service to its customers. This was something which Mark spoke highly about following his most recent interaction with the firm.
He added: “We have always had a good relationship with RHCV. The staff we deal with on a job-by-job basis are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They take time to understand our needs and help us to identify the right vehicle solutions to meet our operational requirements.”
