Established in 2011, EPD Insulation Group are a leading family-run insulation and associated building materials specialist.
They serve customers across the UK, delivering essential building supplies in a range of curtain side, flatbed, rigid and sprinter trucks and vans – 33 of which are Renault Trucks.
Chris Pratt, Transport Manager, said “As we have a predominantly Renault Trucks fleet, we wanted to continue with good quality trucks and great service.”
The Renault Trucks C ranges were purchased from Rob Murphy at RHCV and can achieve a GVW of 32T and a max torque of 1800Nm.
The cab features a dark finish, a digital chrono-tachograph and a quality roof console which allows for plenty of secure storage. A ‘comfort driver’s seat’ has been added to the cab, which features adjustable headrests, height setting memory, adjustable lumbar support as well additional cushioned support. The instrument panel includes a 7” HD colour information display, 12V and 24V sockets for accessories and ECO cruise control. Every feature inside a Renault Trucks cab has been designed to maximise the comfort of the driver and improve their wellbeing. These allow for further benefits for the business such as driver retention.
Chris Pratt said: “We are very happy with the design of the trucks, they are so spacious and comfortable – which is an important quality when looking for new vehicles.
“They are also very reliable which is equally important as they will be operational for five days a week, supplying building materials across the country. We need to be confident that the vehicles are safe and reliable – The Renaults ticked every box.”
The C Range features a variety of safety features as standard to ensure confidence. These features include, Hill-start aid, wheel anti-spin regulation, anti-lock braking system and emergency braking.
Overall, EPD were very happy with the level of service they received from RHCV and look forward to further business in the future.
