Based in Lincolnshire, they have a 50-vehicle-strong fleet. With the addition of their two new trucks, they now have three Isuzus on their fleet. Looking to expand their fleet, Stuart Morris, Transport Maintenace Manager , approached Josh Burns at RH Commercial Vehicles for assistance.
He said: “We have trialled Isuzu on our fleet before and the feedback from the drivers and operators working on them has been very positive. They are easy to operate, have good visibility, and have plenty of storage.
“The employee voice strongly supported the purchase of an Isuzu above other manufacturers.”
With this feedback in mind, they purchased two Isuzu Truck N35.125 (T) Utilitrucks – their first from RH Commercial Vehicles.
The 4×2 rigid chassis cabs with twin rear wheels, feature a tool pod and tipper body. With a GVW of 3.5T, they have been performing very well on the fleet.
Stuart said: “We are very pleased with the trucks and have received no criticism. The vehicles deliver as expected. Although it is very early into their lives, we expect the reliability to match the great experience we have had with similar Isuzu’s on the fleet which has achieved 45,000 miles with no mechanical issues at all.”
CF Construction were won over by the Utilitruck by its excellent value. They found when measuring it against other comparative vehicles, the Utilitruck had a lot more to offer.
Stuart said, “The tool pod was another influencing factor when deciding which vehicle to choose. The tool pods are very accessible making them superior to other makes.
“Feedback on these vehicles has been very positive so far. Drivers have commented on the great turning circle and visibility.”
Overall, Stuart was impressed with the service from RHCV.
He said: “Josh was excellent throughout the entire process. His customer service was top-notch, which, as a business, we place significant emphasis on. He was very easy to approach and acted promptly and efficiently with our queries and requests.
“Based on our experience and the product, we will definitely return to RHCV in the future.”
