The Challenge…

The Day to Day…

  • Monday – Friday: 06:30-15:00
  • Saturday (on rota): 8:00 – 12:00

In this role, you will…

  • Be a point of contact for customers and the service department.
  • Work with the service department to plan customers’ service schedules and the workshop planner.
  • Work with the service department to check maintenance intervals on customers’ vehicles.
  • Greet customers in a courteous manner, understand their requirements and follow the necessary processes to enable work to be undertaken.
  • Liaise with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisor to maximise workshop loading and ensure efficiency.
  • Proactively up-sell products and services to the customers by selling the benefits in a professional manner.
  • Ensure work instructions created on job cards are accurate for the technicians and the invoicing team.
  • To carry out any administration tasks as required within the role.
  • Liaising effectively with the Dealer-point managers, service reception, invoicing team and workshop supervisors to invoice workshop job cards correctly and efficiently.
  • Work with colleagues to obtain order numbers.
  • Support the Warranty Manager with any queries and evidence loading.
  • Comply with warranty and contract procedures.

To succeed, you’ll need…

  • GCSE or equivalent in English language and Maths (Grade 4/ C)
  • Experience in customer service.
  • A basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook applications and have a general computer literacy.
  • To be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • To work in an organised and methodical manner.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Communication skills.
  • To be responsive and willing to learn and receive training.
  • Have a friendly and helpful nature with the desire to deliver excellent customer service.
  • An excellent telephone manner.
  • To be team orientated.
  • Punctuality.

You’ll really hit the ground running if you have…

  • A broad understanding of commercial vehicles and the motor trade industry.
  • Have negotiation skills.

With over 40 years of experience in the commercial vehicle market, we are the people with all the trucks and vans people need. We’re an official Renault Trucks and Isuzu Trucks dealer operating from six sites across the East Midlands.

We are a large and lively team of proud professionals, and our workshop team is the beating heart of our business. Within that team, you will be based at our Northampton site.

Our CSR advisors are the face of the business and maintain our superb customer levels and trailers to DVSA standards. Being able to effectively process information, diagnose issues, and thrive in a physically and mentally exhilarating environment is where you come in!
