HGV Collection and Delivery Driver and Maintainer

We’re searching for a multiskilled HGV Driver to assist us with the collection delivery of commercial vehicles, be an MOT Lane Presentation and assist the day to day as a Yard Person. The Challenge:

• Present vehicles for MOT testing at the onsite ATF lane (weekly)
• Conduct voluntary brake testing and load weights for MOT preparation
• Perform yard and workshop shunting
• Liaise with DVSA personnel and third parties on the ATF lane
• Operate forklifts and telehandlers as required
• Carry out general yard duties, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance
• Perform MOT steam cleaning and PDI valets
• Collect and deliver customer vehicles safely and on time
• Ensure compliance with road traffic laws and company policies when operating vehicles
• Complete all necessary training as required by the company
• Maintain high standards of customer service and uphold company values

What we’re looking for:

• HGV class 1 licence
• At least 2 years driving experience
• Forklift licence
• High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills
• Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation
• Have a customer and team-centric mindset and high level of professionalism
• Good organisational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
