Since 2006, VUS Limited has been working on various construction, civil engineering and utility contracts throughout the country.

Impressed with what the Renault Trucks C430 8×4 Tipper Grab could do for the business, they bought it with the 5-year excellence contract with full R&M – and total peace of mind.
Gavin said, “This is the first Renault Truck in the business, and so far, I’m really pleased with how it is performing.”
The truck is primarily being used for backfilling and clearing spoil from excavations from various contracts along with collecting aggregates from local suppliers.
This kind of work means the truck needs to withstand tough conditions and perform demanding jobs. The combination of the robust tipper chassis with the Thompsons Loadmaster tipper grab delivers in the toughest conditions.
To further help tackle the tough jobs, the chassis has been reinforced with steel bumpers, headlight grilles and under-bumper.
“The additional features certainly help, taking into account the nature of the work carried out,” Robert Troth, HGV Driver of 13 years, 6 of which at VUS. “Its very robust and suits the nature of the business very well.
“The truck has to be both powerful and durable and the C range does that. The drive is very good too. It is easy to operate, and I was pleasantly surprised with the torque.”
The C Range features the 430hp 11-litre engine coupled with the 12-speed optidriver gearbox to allow smooth gear shifting.
The tipper grab allows easy and precise loading and uploading with the flexibility to work in tight spaces for ultimate versatility.
These features combined with the full R&M option made the Renault C 430 the perfect addition to the fleet.
