JC Balls & Sons specialises in earth moving and bulk excavations and has been operating across the East Midlands since 1963. It has a rolling replacement programme to update its kit, and once again approached RHCV for assistance as a longstanding and loyal customer.
The team at RHCV’s Alfreton dealership worked closely with the firm to understand the fleet requirements and identify products that would fit the bill. JC Balls & Sons has always favoured the Renault brand which comprises 63% of the firm’s 30-strong vehicle fleet.
On this occasion, five Renault C 430 8×4 Tipper Trucks were purchased and subsequently delivered on a staggered basis between November 2021 through to February 2022. All were replacement trucks and were covered by a two-year repair and maintenance contract with RHCV.
Prior to the vehicle handover, the Tippers went through RHCV’s dedicated paint shop service at its Nottingham branch. Each received a new livery design and brand refresh to help the cab and chassis on each to stand out whilst on the road.
RHCV’s paint shop is a fully equipped and modern paint booth, capable of meeting all customer needs, and was enhanced just over a year ago through investment in a new preparation bay area to complement the overall customer offer.
